New Children's Book

When baby penguin is born in the Antarctic with extra-long flippers, he is at first criticized and made fun of by the other young penguins in the neighborhood, for his impairment. All, that is, except for one dear friend, Floe, who offers loving support. Although nicknamed Awk the Awkward Penguin by the local bully, Bill, Awk never gives up. Through his adventures he meets some new friends: a kind Walrus, a Seagull and a Cormorant, who help him to discover that being different is not a bad thing. With their help, Awk discovers the amazing talent that this difference affords him and finds his place in the world when he saves the day because of it.
